April Fools and the Foolish Month of April

April was a little crazy since I haven't worked for a couple of weeks now. April Fools day I received a visit visit from missionaries - not a joke, I spent the first couple of weeks working on taxes, took a trip to the OC to pick up my camera, Yay!, we had weird weather from hot hot days to blustery days, Baby Play Dates filled the calendar, and an Animal Crossing Addiction blowing up. Plus:

Girls Night Out - Hollywood with the Dan band
Girls night in Hollywood included seeing The Dan Band at the Avalon, hanging out near a jukebox in a dive bar on Hollywood Blvd, followed up by a visit to my favorite WEHO greasy cafe, all with a sprinkling of sisterly drama, that didn't include April and I. Hmmm.

Easter & House Sitting:
I started house and pet sitting for the Tweedy's and their 2 darling dogs - Pepe & Tango, 2 turtles and 3 birds, including Ringo, a baby parrot - and my new bff! I fell in love with Playa del Rey while walking the beach path, breaks and park along the lagoon.

April's Beach Blow Out
Tina flew into town for April's Birthday. Elida & I planned a bonfire at Dockwieler Beach, but, in the day arrived and Mother Nature had other ideas. We got blow out - sand everywhere, so we moved April's Birthday BBQ to Myle's House. (Thanks Myles!)

While Tina was still in town, Elida and I drove with Tina up the PCH to the furthest point north of Malibu county. We talked on speaker with Rich and Collin while driving home, enjoying the sun bounce off the water of the Pacific.
